II was lucky enough to visit the Isle of Lunga in June and came back with about 6000 photos of Puffins (no exaggeration). Really want to be able to do them justice with watercolour but always get bogged down in detail. I love Jane's loose style and would love my painting to become more 'fluid' (for want of a better way of putting it!). 
I thoroughly enjoyed this tutorial, even if my results didn't quite achieve what I set out to. Now I'm off to order some Sodalite Genuine (I have Hematite and Bloodstone Genuine at the moment but I reckon that might beat them both!) and have a go at another from one of my photos! I've got enough to keep me practising Puffins until the end of my days! 😆
