What a delightful class. Very pleased with my overall results. Have been realizing over the last few months that my fear of drawing comes right at the beginning when starting a sketch with lines. This approach of using blobby shapes first to build an image is so helpful. And the tip about starting in the center really is the key - so much easier to judge proportion that way.

Above are my first attempts at this mindset using a lovely messy gouache brush in Procreate. Started with the Cheetah and got bolder as I went - kitty being the last one done with more details. I want to also try this out with some flower shapes today and will add more to my project here.
