Oh I love this project so much! It was so much fun to use an open source product, Inkscape paired with Istvan's skillful instructions to make this fun looking game character. I have done the walk cycle a few times to get it just to my liking.

 

My Character - Princess Watermelon

Bright and happy colours, a spin-off character based upon Istvan's course character. This little girlie loves watermelon and dresses such that the world knows it!

 

The Walk Cycle

The walk cycle was very challenging and I referred to animators work and other instructions online to work out my mistakes. I am very happy how it turned out!

 

And of course before I attempted this, I created the Awesome Blob too:
