I found it especially helpful to spend some more time on the first stages of getting the shapes and proportions right before moving on to details. The result is definitely better than the portraits I normally do (to be honest: try to avoid 🙈) but likeness is still a major challenge. Will keep practicing and hopefully get better over time!
