Practice Pricing Email

I often have troubles with the pricing aspect as well; especially since while my business tone is very much serious, on-the-ball, and has a let's get this done kind of attitude towards it, I certainly feel like I can come off as rude when discussing pricing, whether freelance or discussing salary. I would like to try my hand at a salary email (although most likely this would be discussed in interviews), as my position (Data Analyst) can be freelance, we're often talking salaries here. So:

Dear [Client],

I am grateful and excited to be on the team! Thank you for this wonderful interview process as well, I really felt that I got to work with your group in a productive way, and made steps into working together wonderfully!

In terms of compensation going forward, I'd like to put forth an offer of 60K per year. I'd love to continue discussing this further, however I do want it to be known that the limit for my services is 55K or lower. I'm sure we can find an option that'll be mutually beneficial to both of us! Please reach out with how you'd like to move forward before we sign the contract and make it offical!

All the Best,

[Name]

[Email]

[Phone]

[Etc.]

I do understand that this probably wouldn't be an email conversation and would likely have been at the start of the interviews before getting hired, BUT please let me know if you liked the setup!

Thank you for giving me the confidence to discuss pricing! And I'm definitely stealing your freelance email style, it's very good ;D
