Although I had watched the class before I began, I was still unable to follow it without constant stopping. I finally gave up and just used Will's final painting to guide me through. I wish I used fewer layers and had better water control. But it turned out pretty ok, I think.

I have painted portraits before and I know they are hard. But I am taking in what Will said in the class to trust my feelings and just let the watercolor do its thing.
