A project of this class of Toby Hassler popped up in students work . I love Toby’s classes, but forget him!! I was busy with oneliners of birds from another class. I finished some birds, but was not happy with the results. Tobias principles are simple: look for a point of interest, s implify and clean up and it do not need an art piece but keep it fun! I mad a page with portraits his way and decided to give my birds another chance!!! Toby is right: it is fun! But I am surprised with the results! I will draw more portraits and finish the bird class the other way,  but with Tony’s ideas in mind.

And because I love to draw portraits this way, I looked for portraits of artists who are not the youngest anymore and made their portraits. It was difficult to find older woman who does not look like 30 or 40! I think for men it is less a problem looking older!
