Creating a Podcast App design using Figma software, I learned how to make a wireframe, apply the design assets, use styles to create consistency and use auto layout and constraints to make the design responsive. I also learnt how to apply simple prototyping to make the prototype, allowing the app link, open overlays and scroll.

 

The responsive part of the course was by far the most challenging, I am still having issues getting everything to work how I want it and I found it quite frustrating at times! However all other aspects I found really simple to use and the software in my opinion is really user friendly.

 

Christine's teaching is on another level, extremely clear and concise. I do have a few questions regarding UI design and the software, however I'm sure delving further into these subjects and taking more courses would clear these up. I really enjoyed this course and feel like I have gained a solid understanding of Figma software, plus a good introduction of UI design, which is exactly what I was looking for. As well as this, I have a professional piece of work that I can add to my portfolio, which I am very pleased with. Thank you Christine!
