Your class certainly kept me busy for a while. Here are the textures which I have created:

Here is the first one where I tried inking on top, I think this got way too busy :(.

This background was my favorite, some surrealistic (if you compare the size of the plant and the whale ;)) inking on top. I think this one came out better:

 

And here I did it the other way around and did the shark first and then played around with different techniques for the background.
