For this project, I wanted to get as far as possible from realistic pencil drawings, which used to be all I ever wanted to do.  Simple cut-paper collages on black backgrounds with kraft paper and some Distress Oxide accents is what I came up with.  My source for images are two children's dictionaries from the 1970s.  Not sure if I'll be happy with the black backgrounds, but another purpose is to use up supplies that have been sitting around for years, so black it is.
