Play around with styles, doesn't have to be perfect - you still learn a lot

I've just finished another class from Fab!

As a perfectionist it is difficult to be an artist. I am never pleased with my work. But I think my inner critic is on a long overdue vacation. She hasn't been present at all.

With this class, I learned so much- yet again. It's fun to play with different medias and without a safety net to catch me, when things goes sideways... This time I just rolled with it :-D

I ended up  with 4 of the styles ( I think the last one might come at some point as well). One of the styles (brush paint markers with towel) ended up pretty awful. I picked the wrong color, because my color swatches is faded, so it was a dark brown. But I went with it. When i put the towel down and sprayed water on it, it turned lilac, so I tried getting the best out of it. It is my least favorite of the paintings.

Watercolor with brush pens ended up being watercolor with acrylic markers, because i couldn't paint over the background with brush pens.

Also i really did pick the wrong type og notebook, the paper is no god for watercolor.

I think my favorite one is the one only using watercolor and a white posca. It turned out better than i thought it would.

Well anyways, enjoy my paintings!
