Pinks Shooting Star Bold Floral
A wildflower in our area is the shooting star (Primula conjugens).
I sketched and followed the processes in the class to color on different layers, use the selection tools to create the diamond flips, and added in the original design. The design has many layers-- here are a few-- just missing three leaf color layers, the texture and the background.

I entered this one into the Spoonflower Bold Floral Challenge:

I wanted to also continue with suggestions in the class, so added a star shape to the background and texture layers for another version, which is a brush that I made. From the top of the flower, a star shape can often be seen, so it fits with the wildflower's own design.
I also created stripes and stars versions as blenders to the collection to add later this week. And I created a simplified version of just one flower with leaves. I'll come back to edit the project with the link to the collection.
In addition, since we learned how to add color to different layers and to duplicate the group of the original, I also created three other color ways for the design.
Here are my examples:

I really appreciate the different way to make patterns with the template provided. There's a lot packed into this class, so I took my time, slowed down, and practiced to create an entire collection for Spoonflower. Thank you, MaddaMom.
