Pink Christmas cards

These cards are so dainty, I love it!
I had actually finished all the projects and then some, but got waylayed by a crying toddler while unloading. Now I finally get to show you the rest. :)

I actually took the time to practice. The rest of the space was then used by my eldest to practice light brush strokes, but more of that later.

After years of practising with Joly's classes, I'm finally feeling like I'm getting the hang of things. ^^;

I totally didn't leave enough white space again, so I broke out the light metallic pink. :) And a complimentary 3 from the previous class. ;)

The pink tree turned out to fat and also, I hadn't left enough white space and had to compensate with white gouache. So I just did another one:

My eldest comes by, sees this, is totally wowed and I'm like: "This is actually easy. I'm show you." Cue family sesh of everyone including the 3yo having a go and this getting to be our family's Christmas card this year:

And then I turned some cards (they'll be given to the school teachers after the holidays) into tree decorations:

All in all, this class was a great Christmas gift to us and I am super happy with all the results. Thank you, Joly, and Merry Christmas! :)
