Perspectives of Home
I chose my living room as the subject of this project not just because it's ridiculously cold outside, but as this is one of the few spaces in which I feel truly at home.
Up high: A favourite spot to work and relax as the morning sun warms the whole room.
Down low: This giraffe stool from Ten Thousand Villages perfectly frames the spinning wheel and violin in the background.
With yourself: Not exactly what the assignment called for, but I prefer it for the spirit of my project.
With a tool: An old Argoflex camera that I found perched on a bookshelf. I love shooting through the frame (TTV, as it's colloquially known) — one gets such an interesting perspective, especially as the frame is horizontally flipped, making it a bit of a mind-bender to compose the shot.
