Paper piecing bunny pattern

Hello everyone!

First of all: thank you for this class, Sophie, I've always wondered how these patterns are created.

I started with some sketches, but quickly decided to go with the bunny (it's the first one I sketched actually)

I then parted it in three bigger parts, although I chose them quite randomly ^^"

After that I started the piece with the nose, and it took me quite some trial and error to get it right. It's complicated to think in the correct order. But I think this would work, right?

And this is where I'm stuck right now:

I added a border around the image (didn't do that before), finished the left piece and am now struggling with the last piece. (I also decided to not incorporate the eyes in the pattern.)

Somehow I can't find a way to make it work? When I draw it like that, sewing wouldn't work, right? I have no idea how to fix that.

Any help would be really appreciated ^^Paper piecing bunny pattern - image 6 - student project

Update:

Considering Sophie's comment I decided to not split the part into two (which would have been easier I fear) but tried to make it work while changing the shape of the bunny itself. This is what I've come up with, and I think this is the final version - for now at least ^^ now I only need to transfer it to other paper and then sew it, but this may take some time.
