I really like your final result, because i know this is not an easy painting to do, and my compliments especially for the transition between blue and orange, excellent !  I like your black outline as well, very precise and bold or thin when needs to be. awesome !

Wow, this is such a beautiful piece of artwork, Christine! The delicacy and the chosen colors are simply stunning. The butterflies add so much to the piece and I didn’t even notice the missing shoe!  lol…..My granddaughter, who is 10, was captured in a gorgeous pose during her last contemporary dance competition. I’ve been wanting to try painting her, but I have no idea where to start. Maybe this class will help me. You’ve definitely piqued my interest, so I will at least watch the class! :)
