Of course I couldn't resist this project since I love painting stones, even if they are tissue paper stones! I used Golden fluid in Quinacridone gold, Yellow iron oxide, Van dyke brown, and a little Green gold. I didn't have Payne's grey in acrylic paint so I used Daler Rowney acrylic ink and it worked fine. 

I tried the matte medium first, but I ended up using a glue stick instead because I like the flat look better, matte medium is still too shiny for me. I did the splatters with grey watercolour and I love the way it bled into the tissue paper.
