The dip pen was so much easier to use than I'd been afraid of. It strikes me as a lot like controlling a brush. I had to stop before quite finishing because I was using old nibs from a yard sale, but I'll definitely be buying some fresh ones. The blue pumpkin type seems like the best fit so far, but it will be fun to try drawing when I'm not coaxing the last breath out of a used-up nib.
