I love this small teapot and cup, which I use to make lemon/ lime and ginger tea. I bought it in a little Asian grocery store in Sydney because I loved the fish design. I was on a four day excursion with primary students and I was so tired! That little pot of ginger tea helped keep me going for the rest of the trip.

 I’ve sketched these at my kitchen bench in that quiet time before the family wake up and the day starts.

While my sketches are tiny, I’m looking forward to the trying some of these media combinations on a larger scale. I sketch regularly when I am out and about with charcoal and graphite. I’m looking forward to adding a bit more colour.
