Hi Kris - another great painting from you. I really love the looseness you've achieved, i can almost feel the grasses swaying slightly in the breeze. There is a lovely gentleness about the whole scene. I love this! The looseness in the background and grasses is gorgeous and the boat has a wonderful, weathered texture. Beautifully painted.

Thank so much Charlotte. You have to do this one. I love playing with a rigger brush, lol; whether its for grass or fur or actual rigging.

I already added the class to my list, I just love the projects that I've seen from it. I love the rigger brush too, lol. I really want to get one of those fat bellied rigger brushes, not sure what they are called, but they look perfect for fine lines.

Better control of the line and not running out of paint? Interesting, Ill have to look those up, not familiar.

We do love a challenge. Distressed wood, Stained leather, water and reflections... You and I  Your boat is wonderful too. I love the softness of your grass and the realistic distant horizon. You have pick up that reflection so well
