It's been ages since I've painted with oils. I found them stickier than I remember. Maybe my paints are a bit dried out.

I think next time I would prefer a smoother surface to paint on. I used a cheap canvas board just for practice, but I should have gessoed it myself first to cover the canvas more smoothly. I relied in the gesso that it came with and it was very grainy. 

Good experimental painting session though because I found out all those things by trying!
