Newfound love: creating on brown paper

I love these classes about creating on brown paper! It really helped me to discover the wonderful world of brown paper and to be less precious about my creations since it is recycled material I'm working on.
First I tried the flower composition with a combination of white pencil, gouache and paper applications. I chose the snowdrop or 'Galanthus'. The brown paper is recycled packaging material.
Then I used recycled wrapping paper and tried out some plants with stamps, gouache and paper applications. The large berries are with a self made stamp cut from an old eraser. The little berries are made with cotton buds.
I also tried the starry night composition and a variation with a fox. I used too much water for the gouache, so the paper wrinkled or there were puddles that did not disappear. The letters of the starry night are cut out of fluo orange paper, the stars are orange stickers I had lying around.
The fox is a paper application. This was something I once made for a postcard using a printing technique, but it turned out all wrong. I kept the fox and now I could use it here. :-)
