Here's a real-world example of a doodle mind map I made to help a client visualize my thoughts and ideas for a Prezi / video project. Even though the client had never heard of mind mapping before, they loved being presented with (and given a walkthrough) of exactly what I was wanting to create. 

Best thing is that I was easily able to get the project manager's buy-in and support BEFORE diving head first into a big project.
