Neurographic Blackout Poetry
I love this art activity as a warm up, a mini creative session, or as part of a series of artworks.
For this one, I used a ruler to create angled lines for my background, then I used a fine tip paint pen to fill those triangles with parallel angled lines in several blues, then I went over those with blue brushpen.

For this one, I used a mix of the spirals and solid yet transparent colors in my neurographic forms around my poem. I did those with brushpens.

For this one, I decided to leave it black and white. I started with the neurographic approach, then started filling in some of the spaces I created with spirals. I liked that the poem became hidden witin the spaces that didn't get filled.

For this artwork, I found my poem then used neurographic art as my approach to decorating the background. I love how the brushpens turned the leftover text into texture. 😊
