NeuroArt
10.5" x 12.5" Drawn with a TOMBOW marker on very old, odd, hot press watercolor paper. I'm fascinated by the process of creating NeuroArt. Most often, my art is a meditative process. This technique is something I haven't come across before and I love it. Thank you! I was quite weary when I began the drawing, yet three hours passed without any desire to stop. Time stood still. I may ... or may not add color.

Charles suggested I add circles, which I wasn't planning on doing with this first attempt at NeuroArt. He challenged me to be brave enough so of course I had to go ahead and add the circles which made me very unhappy to begin with. I had been looking forward to adding color. After about two hours of rounding the edges of the first three messy circles, I was brave enough to add one more and I was a bit happier with it. I then added four more circles and more neuro lines. I felt a bit better with each one. I definitely am not feeling the urge to add color to this one anymore. I might ... but I really need to get back to the Color Value course I've promised my students I'll publish next week.
I'm definitely hooked on this technique! Thanks, Charles, for the challenge!
