Negative space shape cards , part 2, with Chris Carter
My florals
I am really sad that my photos turned out so poor! I used the best daytime to take my pictures in daylight near a window and realized only tonight while uploading them from my phone to my computer that the lines don't show properly!

I love to photograph shadows:
Here I used old book pages and even a gelli printed acetate foil. As I didn't want to put glue on the light parts I used some eyelets and even some stitching to fix my images.

The Nana "La grande tempérance" by Niki de Saint Phalle in Luxembourg City and part of an old weathered metal sculpture not far from where I am living.

Inspiration from my art books:
1: Femme assise 1 (part of the painting) by Miro
2: Dream, part of a woodcut by Kiyoshi Saito
3: Influence 1932 by Paul Klee

I look much more at negative space around me now and had a really good time with this project. I have some more photos to work from. Selecting the good ones is the hardest part. Some are more successful than others.
