Nasturtiums

I used Baohong Masters' Choice 300gsm 100% cotton rough paper in size 31 x 24 cm, Daniel Smith's tube watercolors and Copic's Opaque White for the leaf veins.
I wanted to try another color for the background that would make the flowers pop out even more, but I'm not sure how well my blue-gray color choice worked. Now it almost looks like water, unintentionally. And at the very least I think the value is wrong, it should definitely be lighter or darker than the leaves. Now I'm considering turning the background almost black! That'd make them pop for sure, lol. But I'll probably just let it be... Things to consider next time, for sure! Otherwise I'm pleased with the project.
Thanks Chris for yet another awesome class! :)
