My version of The Tide Rises, the Tide Falls By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Life Rises, Life Falls

Life rises, life falls,
The waves wash away my worries;
Along the shore I take slow steps,
Feeling peace with each breath,
And life rises, life falls.

The night comes and darkness spreads,
But the sea keeps calling me;
The gentle waves take away my sad thoughts,
And bring in hope and joy,
And life rises, life falls.

The morning comes with bright light,
Bringing new thoughts and calm;
The tide reminds me life goes on,
And every day can bring peace,
And life rises, life falls.
