The character sketch of Hannibal, I actually made this after I did the first spread because I couldn't visualize how he would look yet.

I placed the text and just tried to get the concept and basic composition right.

I then changed a lot from the sketch to convey the right mood and to make the composition feel more comfortable and then rendered it. I'm really happy with the storytelling in this spread.

I've been wanting to learn more about creating the actual spreads, so this class is just what I needed, thank you very much.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I really want to get into children's book illustration.
