My photo walks

My photo walks - student project

Photo walks is something that I started enjoying a lot more since the beginning of the first lockdown in 2020. They gave me a purpose to leave the house each day and explore the neighbourhood around me whilst it was quiet. I have tried to keep up the habit ever since and now regularly bring the camera with me on walks.

Here are some of my favourite pictures from photo walks or just everyday walks from the past 18 months.

Similarly to Sean, I too love to shoot at sunset when the light is warm and soft and it is something that I like to look out for in my daily walks.

Photo walks are also a great opportunity to practice portraiture.

Colour, composition, light and details are always what draws my attention during walks.

I absolutely love photographing when it's foggy outside. The colours seem more muted and the images become more moody.
