Thanks for your valuable feedback Brigitte. Actually I did not use a reference photo to paint and it was purely from memory and random flowers that you normally see in bouquets. I just applied your techniques to the painting and used my imagination :-) Yes, it was more tricky painting on the trousers but after the first few brush strokes I was able to judge how much paint is required. A lot of paint gets absorbed by the material so it requires much more paint than normal canvas or paper. I'm surely looking forward to wearing them and getting opinions :-)

Sharon, your flower painting is beautiful! I can tell you used a good reference. The color choices and composition are well thought out and show very good skill. And you’re the first one in this class to paint on your pants. Good on you. They look great. It’ll be fun for you to wear them around and get compliments. When I wear mine, many people ask wear I got them, especially the younger crowd. Did you find it more challenging to paint on fabric? Thanks for posting your project.
