When I want to make something, but am spinning my wheels figuring out what to make, ‘Color Collage’  is my go-to art journaling prompt. 

It’s a fun way to start creating without knowing what the end result will look like. I’ll first collect collage elements, paints, markers, and drawings that fit my chosen color theme.  Then I’ll start arranging them on the page like a puzzle, figuring out where things fit. 

Focusing on color alone informs my decisions so I don’t overthink what’s actually happening on the page. And the best part is - I tend to LOVE the results. These are some of my favorite journal pages!
