This was such a fun, unique class - and just what I was looking for! I love sewing dolls, and I'd tried poking wires into their arms or legs, but I'd never thought of making a whole armature skeleton. 

I modified a doll pattern so that the arms and legs weren't sewn into the body. (It's the Harvey Buttons doll from Koala and Mila.)  

I got the armature in there, stuffed it, and stitched it up. It's not exactly pretty, and one arm wire is too short, but I got the idea of it.
