My Watercolor Birds

My Watercolor Birds - student project

As soon as I saw a bird class I couldn't wait to start. My first of many Australian birds I would like to share with you.

My Blue Winged Kookaburra :)

This class was perfect, there's room for improvement in my Kookaburra, but overall I'm happy with him. Decided on watercolor only no white or ink for him. Will keep adding more as time permits. Thankyou Amarylis wonderful class!!

Major Mitchell :) (Australian Pink Cockatoo)

Heaps of projects on the go, but felt like doing a bird tonight, reference from a kind hobbyist photographer. :). I outlined the white feathers with sepia Micron 01 pen because I wasn't going to do a background but changed my mind, probably didn't need to use ink. Step by step learning with every painting. :)
