I think recycling art is a lot of fun. Because the hard work is already finished, I feel I can be really creative with this method!

Here is my original charcoal drawing. 

In this drawing, I was really focusing on studying and learning the face. But in my recycled pieces, I felt I could be more creative with her story and who she could become as a character. 

Here I turned her into a sort of fairy character. :) I really enjoyed drawing the flowers and sparkly cheeks. 

Then I made her a Pirate! :D

And finally I turned her into a mermaid. :) I may push this one further and add seashell earrings or something.

 

I had fun. XD I can't wait to see what you all make in class!
