My Painting from Day 2: Mother & Child

My Painting from Day 2: Mother & Child - student project

This painting symbolizes a lot to me. Every time I see it, it brings a sense of nourishment into my body. But, I have to be honest, this wasn't always the case.
After I finished painting it, I was a bit sad. I saw pain and suffering reflected there. But, over time I started to recognize the figure of a mother kissing her child. They both were entangled with each other, united forever.

I understood that art is a tool to transform our own perspectives. To see the other side of the picture and remind ourselves that we are light and shadow as well.

We choose where to put our attention, therefore, we are choosing the direction of our reality.

I invite you to try Day 2 of this journey if you haven't yet and to share a bit of your own perspective during this process.
