After completing this magnolia I wanted to paint a more delicate magnolia. This was the challenge, & I love my softer version, still undecided what to do with the background though. In my  journey so far, still searching for my style but I seem to be drawn to botanical illustration.

 

My favourite :) Took me all night to do this, still learning, humming & harring, get a bit nervous sometimes before the brush hits the paper, silly really! Would love to be decisive & paint loosely, but don't think it is in me, confidence is building though.

This was done on hot press paper.
