Hi Katia,  Thank you for posting up your painting. It's a great piece and very dramatic. I was interested to see that you have used directional brush marks in the background and really high contast and both of these techniques has given the painting great drama. It is almost as if you are waiting for the figure (your husband) to move or say something.  Would you mind if I used your painting image to put on my instagram feed to showcase it?  Brilliant work, congratulations.  Denise x

I'm very happy with your comments, because you are an expert in this painting technique. I tried to give depth to the painting by marking the light and shadow on the blue parts.  I liked learnig the  technique of simplifying the photo. It's a great drawing lines technique.
