I stepped out of my "safety zone"!! I normally love to paint animals, wildlife, and birds. I have noticed some absolutely beautiful projects lately by fellow students that have stepped out of their comfort zone and tried something new. And, some of my fellow students have highly recommended Chris' classes, so I thought I would give this a go!

I must admit, this was totally different for me and I felt like scrapping it a few times! I decided to stick with it as a learning experience.

However, as the painting progressed, things fell into place more! My project is far from perfect but I am pleased with the result.

My colleagues were correct about Chris! What a fantastic, patient, thorough teacher. Chris gives tons of info for us to take into our watercolor journey.  The dedication and time he puts into the classes is phenomenal. I will definitely be taking more classes.

I am so glad I took this class. Thanks to Chris and my fellow Skillshare colleagues for the inspiration!
