Hi! I created a map about foods and wines made on the volcanic land around Mount Etna, Sicily. I went down a bit of a research rabbit hole with this one! Probably I should have stuck to just the 5 icons recommended and made them larger, but ended up adding a few extra ones.

Here's my sketch:

 

Below is an inky roller background, some stamp brush tests, and also a bit of colour exploration. I decided to keep my 3 colour layers mid-tone and then create a dark colour by multiplying all the colours together. This would allow me to have the point of interest dots in pink, which seemed to give the piece a bit of a lift.
