I can't remember ever doing this before painting. I have drawn on a photo but not using a photo as reference. As it was my first time, I used a grid to help me. I'm fairly proud of this sketch. That I made in Adobe Fresco by the way.

The second observational drawing was way more difficult. I used a photo I made during a holiday in France. I decided not to make a detailed sketch and focused on the different parts. I have seen some details I want to use in the final piece, but I didn't include them in this sketch. I think I'm ready for the next section of this course.
