I started with my acrylic gouache and used a flower from our garden. I might still go over this with some colored pencil to add a bit more detail. But it's a start - working my way through this awesome class!

 

 

My second project is with watercolor, which I love to play with because it seems like endless colors can be achieved with one pan of paint - although I did mix a little bit but I enjoyed just using various amounts of water for the pinks.

 

These next two were supposed to be mostly colored pencil (pencil crayon), but I also used watercolor, Tombow markers, and a little Posca pen. The first one feels rather tortured and I fiddled with it over several days (like a week really), so I tried completing the second one in just one day - although it was a matter of painting for a bit, then pencils for a bit, then walking away, then adding some markers... and so on. I think I need more colors in my pencil collection to really get what I'd like here though...
