Mini books and lunch menus

First of all, I'm struggling with anxiety over showing my amateur "work", but someone else might be too, so I hope this encourages someone else who might be feeling the same way. My sister-in-law, Jan, is ill and lives in another town. Getting my mini books in the mail is something she really looks forward to, it brightens her day so much. We didn't know each other as kids, but I drew one mini book as though we had been childhood friends. She plays the clarinet and oboe, but she calls them a hairnet and hobo, so there are a few inside jokes included. Also, on days that my husband and I can't have lunch together, I draw a lunch menu so he knows what I fixed him for lunch and that it's in the refrigerator.Mini books and lunch menus - image 6 - student project

You can see why I want/need these stick figure and drawing classes. I hope to compare these to next years cartoon panels and show a LOT of improvement.
