As someone who is fairly new to watercolour painting, I really enjoyed this course as it presented me with a challenge quite different from traditional landscape painting.  I found the concept  of Yokai really spoke to me and have enjoyed researching the subject since starting.

When painting my creatures, I tried to implement the three techniques as best I could.  Though, I’m conscious that I may be laying on the paint a little thick.
