i previously added some photos of Stab binding but they were not the ones used in Ido Agassi's tutorial. I have therefore deleted them and put the ones made using his instructions. It was an interesting project and I enjoyed making the strings from Japanese paper. The instructions and demonstrations were superb. I did encounter a few hiccups but hopefully I will eradicate those the next time round. Most enjoyable challenge.

I decided to try this technique using fabric for the front cover. The fabric has a a Sashiko design which I thought would be appropriate. I was pleased with the result though as I was making the holes I felt the book block shift and unfortunately it has shifted about 1 mm. Also, I cannot get the hang of hiding my knot in the back cover. I enjoyed the process of making it.
