I found mica pigments at a thrift store! The top row, plus the first one on the 3rd row, are those pigments in gum arabic. The second row, plus the 2nd one in the 3rd row, are the pigments mixed with water soluble graphite powder! The two dark gray swatches are watercolor made from oak ashes/charcoal I made.

Below is a quick piece I completed using some of the colors that spilled out of the pans. I'm excited to experiment more with Making and using my own colors.
