I love how you suggested getting prepared before hand, setting a timer / realistic time goal, and putting on headphones to "get in the zone". These tips will help me remember the overall goal.

In my case, I might set aside time to draw on my iPad but then the tablet or Apple Pencil is low on battery, etc. So I bought a 30-ft power cable and will plan ahead to check the battery life so it's ready to go whenever I'M ready to work on my art. Thank you!
