Updated Project: 

I wanted to have some fun with this figure I'd cut out months ago. This time I was inspired by her seated posture and that led to create a ledge that led to a book, that led to filling the background behind her with Sharpie letters. I really its simplicity, symbolism, and graphic nature.

Here I've collaged a magazine figure to start to break up the page then further broken the page up with line before filling those negative spaces with doodles. And my doodle brainstorm sheets.

Another Figure Doodle, this time on red construction paper with Sharpie, fineliner, Posca pens, and Silver Sharpie. I really liked the effect of using a color paper. It along with the doodles really helped make the black and white figure pop out.
