It might be hard to see in the pics but I used metallic bronze and gold paints. I don't know why I never reach for those when I'm using the gel press!  Same with paint and bottle caps - have used the caps to make impressions on the plate and have used them with paint straight to paper but never with paint on the gel press.  Love the smoosh.
