Loses Nass-auf-Nass-Aquarell: Weiche Formen und gemischte Farben finden (Mini-Lektion)

This is so beautiful, Deanna. I love how you really leaned into the water and let the colors move and blend naturally. You can see that you were paying attention to the amount of water and paint, and it really shows in those soft edges and transitions. That red flower is especially lovely. The way the color diffuses out from the center feels so natural, and you still kept just enough variation to give it life and depth. And that darker flower at the bottom adds such a nice contrast and anchors the whole piece. This is exactly the kind of practice that helps everything start to click. You’re observing, adjusting, and letting the process guide you, and that’s where the growth happens. Beautiful work.

That is ok if it wasn't your favorite piece! You learned something new, you played and hopefully had fun. You put paint on paper! Every time we do that we advance. Go ahead and watch this class again and paint it a second or 3rd time! I often paint the same piece 3-5 times! Each time learning something new and trying that in the next painting. This is all about learning, not getting it "right". Watercolor is HARD! You are doing a great job. Keep it up. If you paint a second one, see if Skillshare will let you upload a new painting here! WOW!!! You did it! You played and had fun and experimented! You discovered so much with this practice! After all isn't that the whole point to art? Just to have fun and do something for yourself? There is so much pressure on us in all areas of our life. Art is for YOU. Incredible job. Keep it up. I can't wait to watch you grow and explore!
